Cleansing Balm are the latest facial cleansing trend. After the skin is cleansed, the balm functions as well as a moisturizer. This is a great addition to your routine.

Are you looking for a cleansing balm that is a zero-waste and solid option?

Most cleansers on the market are in liquid form, which is very difficult to find in a compostable option other than glass. Our cleansing balm is easy to carry and pack for travel. It’s also available in plastic or Earth-friendly compostable containers.

The Altus Advantage

When I look for recipes or product ideas, I always consider if the packaging could eventually be used in an eco-friendly option.

The ingredients are also important.  What sustainable ingredients within my knowledge base can be used in each product?

This is how we researched and decided on our newest product…

Our Cleansing Balm Is Now Here!

Brand new product! Our Cleansing Balm is not as commonly found on the market as soap and body butter. The balm is a great alternative to clean your face because it is even more moisturizing than our Natural Soaps.

When I found the perfect recipe, I had a group of seven women test it. They were between 45 and 55 years old and all of them came back with no changes. They also each requested to purchase the product since they loved it so much. Even the most hesitant tester was asking for it after she tried it out.

This silky oil-based facial cleanser is Korean-inspired and comes in a super convenient solid form.

The delicate grapefruit scent and powerful yet very gentle cleansing oil stick dissolves makeup and leaves skin feeling incredibly soft, clean, and makeup-free.

The way you use it is also a treat! Take a few mindful moments as you massage the balm into your skin and give yourself a facial massage. Focus on the tense areas of your face, especially around the jaw where we tend to clench and hold our stress.

Who Can Use Our Cleansing Balm?

The cleansing balm can be used by any skin type.

The beauty of this product is that, even though it’s oil-based, it doesn’t leave an oily residue and will remove make-up and impurities.

The balm leaves your skin’s moisture barrier intact and does not dry it out.

How Do You Use The Cleansing Balm?

Step 1: On your DRY skin, apply the balm.

Step 2: Work it as much as you can. Add warm tap water on your face to emulsify the oils.

Step 3: This will turn the balm into a milky cream and allow it to penetrate into the creases of your skin.

Step 4: With a warm wet face cloth, hold and press it on your face for a few seconds before wiping your skin gently but thoroughly.

Step 5: Rinse wet face cloth and repeat Step 4 until no product is left.

Step 6: Finish by spritzing our Rose Floral Water which will give your skin added benefits. (Optional).

We’re really happy with the solid face cleansing balm that we’ve created and we’re sure that you’re going to love it as much as our testers did. Get yours today!
